Step into the San Francisco Valley of the California Scottish Rite, where we are a vibrant community of Masons deeply committed to enriching lives through timeless principles and modern progress. Our foundation is rooted in the legacy of Freemasonry, embracing the enduring values of Brotherly Love, Tolerance, Charity, and Truth. Our journey is a dynamic fusion of tradition and innovation, an ongoing evolution of ancient wisdom in a contemporary world.

With a history that spans decades, our Orient has continually adapted to meet the aspirations of today's Masons. We offer a centralized membership experience that seamlessly connects you to events, illuminating discussions, and a wealth of educational resources. Within our Valley, you'll encounter a diverse network of like-minded individuals who share a common commitment to self-improvement, community service, and personal development.

Our dedication extends far beyond our Valley, particularly through our steadfast support of speech-language programs via the CASRF. We are staunch advocates for positive change, actively partnering with fellow Masons and community leaders to ensure a lasting impact.

At the heart of our Orient lies the profound understanding that the Masonic journey is both personal and collective. Whether you're a devoted Scottish Rite Mason, a Master Mason contemplating the next step, or a newly raised Mason eager to explore the uncharted territories of our fraternity, we wholeheartedly invite you to embark on a transformative journey within the San Francisco Valley. Join us as we honor tradition, warmly embrace innovation, and together forge ahead on a path illuminated by enlightenment, unity, and unwavering brotherhood.

Together, we shape the future while paying homage to our illustrious past—this is the essence of the San Francisco Valley of the California Scottish Rite.

ABOUT

San Francisco Scottish Rite is part of the greater family of Masonic organizations that provide an opportunity for men, women, and youth to enjoy fellowship, serve their communities, and deepen their understanding of life.

Freemasonry is the world's largest and oldest fraternal organization. Based on metaphors derived from the traditions of the men who built the great cathedrals of Europe, Masonry imparts its teachings through a series of degrees.

The Scottish Rite is one of the two branches of Freemasonry in which a Master Mason may proceed after he has completed the three degrees of Symbolic or Blue Lodge Masonry. The other branch is known as the York Rite, consisting of Royal Arch Masons, Royal and Select Masters and the Knights Templar.

Masonry is open to honest men of good will who express a sincere desire to deepen their relationship with their fellow men and with God. If you would like to learn more about the Masonic journey, we invite you to explore the links on this page or contact our office.

The San Francisco Valley meets the last Wednesday of the month with 6pm Meeting followed up with a 6:45pm Dinner and Program.
